Here I am again :)
I've once again rekindle my love upon blogging. LOL
Its my first time joining a Latin Dance competition with a MALE partner as a beginner. XD
I made up my mind to join this competition at the eleventh hour .
I only got less than 2 weeks to get the steps and practice.
Ouh, and also find a partner.
Texted Onn Rei and surprisingly he was keen on joining too!
So we did and took up 3 dances excluding Samba. :X
Had so much fun during all the practice and drillings in studio.
Really miss it now but its reeally tiring.
Straight to studio almost everyday after college and got home around
10 , 11 or 12! Imagine that and still goota rush to complete my
assignments til ëarly morning".
One week before the comp and we got to know
we have to take up another dance, Paso Doble.
I never learn that before. No idea what the dance suppose to be like.
Got the steps , practice, practice and practice for approximately 8 days!
The competition was held on 9th May in Panasonic Sports Complex.
Reachecd, tried the floor and make up!
I TOTALLY suck in make up.
Thanks to my dancemates who taught me but i still suck in that. -.-
The competition began and first dance was cha cha!
My hope was to not being kicked out the first round and im satisfied! :D
Incredibly happy that I manage to pass the preliminary, quarter and semi &
went into finals for all 4 dances.
Finally , everythg ended. Got my results. Dah puas hatiii! :)
2nd runner up for Paso, 5th placing for Rumba, and
6th for both Cha Cha and Jive.
